The election was established in 1995 and has been held every two years since 1998. The purpose of the election is to encourage and recognize the youth who have demonstrated their outstanding performance and to build a social model by praising them for their efforts; therefore to encourage young people to care for and participate in the community. Winners will also be invited to the ‘Outstanding Teens Association’ to participate in social services in future to help people in need and care for the community.
